KIDS TAG ART
About Kids Tag Art
Kids Tag Art is a community partnership program that brings businesses, students, families, the Taylor County Tax Collector’s Office and Schools together to increase awareness about the importance of art and arts education in our community. All proceeds from tag sales go directly to the school and all sponsorship funds raised, after expenses, are divided between all participating schools.
Kids Tag Art was started in Polk County in 2002. Since that time many other counties in Florida have implemented this program with great success.
The 2019-2020 Kids Tag Art Program will begin this August when school starts back. Primary and Elementary students will create their own unique vanity tag that family and friends may purchase for the front of their vehicle, along with other items that have their artwork imprinted on it.
Awards of Distinction tags will be chosen by the Tax Collector, the Superintendent, the TCES Principal and each sponsor. These will be displayed on our website and in our office beginning in mid-October.
Sponsorship and Donating
We have some wonderful sponsors for our program this year. We are always looking for sponsors for the next year of Kids Tag Art. There are different levels of sponsorship, beginning at $250 for our bronze level benefits. We also welcome any individual donations to the program.
